JOB DESCRIPTION
FSV Payment Systems is seeking a Technical Analyst responsible for providing business and technical requirement analysis and documents as well as project management related to the stored value industry. Must demonstrate the ability to support a high transaction production environment. This individual will work closely with Implementations, Product, Application Development, and QA teams to ensure requirements are properly documented, communicated, executed upon and projects are tracked and managed with methodologies. Additionally, this individual will represent FSV's application enterprise in meeting with clients, vendors, and issuing banks therefore technical project management experience is required.
Additionally, the desired candidate should have experience in stored value card processing, credit card processing, or other high transaction processing business in the financial services industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business requirements analysis and technical documentation for information technology projects
- Project coordination for technology projects, including communication with technical teams with clients and other stakeholder entities
- Project risk management and associated communication
- Additional assignments as deemed appropriate by management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor in CS/CIS strongly preferred
- Previous work with billing and payment systems; credit card processing or other financial services systems support
- Strong aptitude to understand technology architecture and enterprise application development
- Strong desire to learn and grow individually while striving for company and initiative success
- Ability to research and analyze situations and problems to offer logical and appropriate recommendations
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively as part of a team, yet work independently
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and understanding of technical concepts
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with project workplan software (Ex. Microsoft Project)
